National Beer Day on April 7th annually, recognizes the world’s most widely consumed alcoholic beverage. Following water and tea, it is the third most popular drink overall. One of the world’s oldest prepared beverages, beer possibly dates back to 9500 BC when cereal was first farmed. It is also recorded in the written history of ancient Iraq and ancient Egypt.

I am a man of simple beverage tastes, coffee or beer keeps me ticking. I have traveled extensively overseas, and have run into beer (some qualities sucked though) in all countries. I used to be a significant drinker of beer, but as I have aged , my consumption has backed off a lot. The taste is so comforting, but I do not need large amounts any more. Do you consume beer? If you do, is there a particular type you like? Mine is fairly easy,,, COLD and FREE .
